Waffle Market Stall in France

The waffles in the North of France are quite different to what we would normally think of as waffles. They are thinner, biscuit-like, wafer-like (if that is possible) with some filling inside. So what is this weird biscuit wafer texture I’m trying to describe? It’s sort of like chewy inside, while have a slight crunchiness in the outer crust. The filling brings some juiciness. My description may sound strange, but the proportion of juicy, chewy and crunchy are perfect.

If you were at this stall, which flavour waffle would you choose?

These look delicious! Hm, there are so many amazing flavours… I’d probably choose the salted caramel or the nutty chocolate one. Yum! x
