A Walk Through Sancti Petri

There’s no taking trout with dry breeches.

– Miguel de Cervantes

There is a tiny place I adore tucked away in Andalucía, called Sancti Petri, that used to be a fishermen’s village. Now it’s a spot for water sports and nice seafood restaurants too. I’ve been going there everyday this past week to swim and do some paddle surfing.

Sancti Petri

One very sunny day, with low tide, I brought my camera along. Would you like to join me in a walk around Sancti Petri through some photos?

There are loads of scruffy kitties there. If I could I’d take a one…

So much delight walking with you in my old haunts through Andalucía. Although I don’t remember visiting Sancti Petri, I did know of it…and it brings such FOND memories of home. Yep, that was home. Sigh…

If you come back I’m sure you’d love visiting here. It’s very small so it won’t take long 😉

There is nothing quite like a seaside town ~ history, the water and even though life on the sea (fishing and storms) are not easy that is off set by the beauty and people. Cheers to a great week.

Today I had a bit of a tough moment paddle surfing on a choppy sea just off here,… so yes being a fisherman on very difficult seas must be difficult. Cheers to a great week to you too!
